Hey Opponauts,
I am looking to boost my resume and want to take some online Excel courses and maybe get some kind of “official” certification. Anyone have any experience with these?
I tried googling it but all I get are paid search ads and top 10 excel course blog posts from 2011. I would actually prefer to pay for the course, and not just deal with free tutorials. I know Lynda.com is a pretty reputable site, but they don’t really layout what all their excel training includes.
Thanks in advance for the suggestions, and enjoy the Porsche designed Mercedes Super Sport Short, for you time.

I don’t have anything to recommend other than Lynda. I used it for a few Adobe CS programs and was very pleased.

You may want to look at Microsoft’s MOS certifications. They’re not Excel specific, but are over-reaching through the Office suite and can be quite helpful in moving up in the world. MOS Expert certification shows advanced proficiency in Word and Excel - might be right up your alley.

Doing courses is all very well if you need certification, but they won’t teach you anything that browsing the help files and using Excel don’t.

Unfortunately I haven’t heard any course like that.
Porsche did design for the SSK but that certain car has special bodywork. The others were a lot more spartan. That’s a SSK built for count Carlo Trossi. The designer isn’t really known but it is possibly a collaboration by Willie White and the count himself. Currently it is owned by Ralph Lauren. Here’s another picture of it.

If you’re not going the MSCE route or going with Lynda, I’ll add to what the others said and probably get a book. That’s how I did it. Plus you’ll need to be specific on what version of Excel (2010? 2016?).
